Setting your time zone
Click your organization name in the top left.
Click Settings.
Under General, click Settings.
On the Organization info tab, find Time zone under Basic info.
Choose your zone from the dropdown.
Click Update.
Choosing the right zone
Pick the zone you actually run trips in. That may not be the zone your computer is set to — if you manage an operation remotely, or travel, your device clock and your trips can be in different places. The trips are what matter here.
If you have never changed this setting, it is set to Mountain time. Every organization started there, so if you operate anywhere else, this is worth setting now.
What your time zone affects
Trip scheduling. New trips are scheduled against this zone.
Reports and exports. Timestamp columns — when a payment executed, when it was scheduled, when a payout should arrive — render in this zone, as do the date filters you run reports with.
Scheduled payments. Scheduled client charges run at 5:00 p.m. on their scheduled date, in this zone.
What changing it does not affect
Trips that are already scheduled keep the time zone they were created with. Payments that are already scheduled do the same — they will still run at 5:00 p.m. in the zone that was set when they were scheduled.
So changing this setting does not move anything already on your calendar. It applies to what you schedule from that point on. If something existing needs a different time after the change, edit it directly.
