Learn all about Audience

If you are not familiar yet with Audience, we invite you to first read this helpsheet to get to know all the basics of Audience.

Specify an item

To create efficient workflows, you need to be able to precisely identify what your members do. For example, if you want to track which members purchased your introduction offer for then push them to subscribe.

With the following step we are going to learn how to do so on Audience.

Step 1: Add a trigger

This trigger can be an entry trigger, exit trigger or any trigger in your workflow.

  • Select "Event" as the type of trigger

  • Then select one of the events in the "Purchase" section

    • For our example, we are going to select the "Pass" event

Step 2: Specify an item

Reminder: Everything shown in this tutorial works for the following event in purchase:

  • Pass

  • Appointment pass

  • Shop item

  • Gift card

But it also works for the event "Creation" in the subscription section

By default, if nothing is indicated, the event will be triggered if any pass has been purchased. If you want the event to be triggered for a specific item:

  • Activate the toggle "Specify items"

  • Then select the exact pass you want in the list of items

  • To note: You can select multiple items at once. The rule between the items is a OR meaning that if a member purchases at least one of the items selected, the event will be triggered.

  • Click on "Confirm"

  • Click on "Save"

All good

Well done! This event will know be triggered only if the specified item has been purchased.

Don't forget that everything shown in this tutorial works for the following event in purchase:

  • Pass

  • Appointment pass

  • Shop item

  • Gift card

But it also works for the event "Creation" in the subscription section.
