Seeing an "Invalid email address" error? It usually means the email contains a character, space, or typo that email systems don't accept. It's quick to fix — here's how. ✅
Check these first 🔍
The most common causes are small and easy to miss:
Spaces before or after the email — this often happens when copy-pasting
Accented letters — é, ü, ç, à, etc. aren't allowed in email addresses
A typo — a missing @, a double dot (..), or a missing part like ".com"
Special characters — such as ( ) < > , ; : " [ ] | % &
💡 Tip: If you pasted the email, try typing it out manually instead — this removes any invisible spaces or hidden characters.
Which characters are allowed?
Email standards only accept:
Letters a–z (no accents)
Numbers 0–9
Dots ( . ), hyphens ( - ), underscores ( _ ), and plus signs ( + )
Anything else — including spaces — will trigger the "Invalid email address" error.
How to fix it 🛠️
Retype the email address manually, checking for the issues above
