What is the Bubble Academy?
The Bubble Academy is our new online learning platform that aims to enable sitters and nannies to learn new skills and help them be the best they can be. We know that our growing community loves using the app to find flexible and rewarding work, so have launched the app to help you feel confident and excited about every sit.
Who can register for the Academy?
The Academy is exclusively open to all sitters and nannies who are approved to find work on Bubble and is free of charge for our community. As an approved sitter on the app, you'll be signed up automatically to the courses on Thinkific.
What modules does the Academy include?
The Academy comprises of 5 different training modules that cover areas pertinent to childcare, including Safeguarding, First Aid, Play, Behaviour and Nanny Wellbeing. Our courses have been crafted by industry professionals with real-world knowledge to give you the strong foundational knowledge to help you on your sits.
We will also continue to evolve the courses that we have available on The Bubble Academy. Please fill in this form if you would like the opportunity to be a part of The Bubble Academy by being a course leader or writing an article etc.
Do I have to take the course all at once?
The modules are designed with flexibility in mind, so you can work through the content in your own time and at your own pace. The material will be delivered through video and written content to suit different learning styles, and we offer a quiz at the end of each module to consolidate your learning.
Which 3 modules do I need to complete to get The Bubble Academy badge on my profile?
The 3 modules that you need to watch and successfully pass the quizzes for to optimise your profile further are:
1. Safeguarding (4 videos and 12 questions)
2. First Aid Basics (7 videos and 20 questions)
3. Behavioural (3 videos and 4 questions)
How can I get The Bubble Academy badge on my profile?
To optimise your profile further and to showcase to parents that you've completed the 3 modules required all you need to do is watch all of the topics of each module and successfully pass the quizzes for these.
Once you've successfully completed these, your badge will be added to your profile.
How do I access the Academy?
You can learn more about The Bubble Academy by visiting www.joinbubble.com/the-bubble-academy, where you can also read online articles and register for the courses. We will just need to take a few details from you so that we can sign you up.
