This Article will guide you through what to do when the touchscreen doesn't respond. Please go through these steps before entering a ticket.
Step by step Instructions
1. Check Kiosk online
Check that your Kiosk is online by logging in to the Bubblepay Portal. It could be that your Kiosk has gone offline or your internet has dropped out. This is unlikely however a good place to start.
2. Check the Cables
Often when the touchscreen isn't responding, it's because the cables are loose, potentially from minor vibration over a long period of time. Please start with checking that all cables are fixed. Remove the Touchscreen cable, wait 20 seconds and secure back into plug.
This should fix the screen however follow the next steps if the screen remains off.
3. Reboot the Computer
If all the cables have been checked as per Step 1 and the screen is off (black), the next step is to reboot the computer. Turn off the Computer, wait 2 minutes then turn everything back on. It can take another 2 minutes for all machines to show online and connect.
4. Place a ticket
If you have followed all the steps and the touchscreen is still not responding, please place a ticket in the Support Portal.
