My Kiosk is saying "Connecting to Credit Card Reader..."

If your kiosk computer is unable to connect to the credit card reader, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Shutdown the Kiosk:

    • Power off the kiosk completely.

  2. Wait 60 Seconds:

    • Allow 60 seconds for the capacitors to fully discharge.

  3. Turn the Kiosk Back On:

    • Power the kiosk back up.

For Vend Access systems, you will also need to reset the Vend Access OTI telebox:

  1. Locate the Vend Access OTI telebox.

  2. Perform a reset according to the specific instructions for your model.
