BuilderBid lets you export your estimate to Ressio, making it easy to transfer all line items and groups into your Ressio account. This workflow ensures accurate data import while allowing you to apply your markup and tax rates directly in Ressio.

Steps
1. Export your estimate from BuilderBid
From the Estimate tab, click “Export.”
2. Select the Ressio export option
Click “Ressio.”
This will download a template file containing all line items and groups from your estimate.
3. Prepare the exported file
Open the downloaded file.
Under the Unit Cost column, select all line items and click the Increase Decimal button to show up to 4 decimal places.
Delete all contents under the Markup % column.
These steps ensure the data is correctly formatted for import into Ressio.
4. Copy and paste the data into Ressio
Select all rows in the prepared file and copy them.
Log in to your Ressio account.
Select Add Category, click on the first cell, and paste the data.
5. Apply markup and tax
Once your line items and groups are imported, add your markup and tax rate directly in Ressio to complete your budget setup.
