BuilderBid allows you to export your estimate into Contractor Foreman, helping you quickly transfer your line items and budget for tracking and project management. This guide walks you through exporting your estimate, importing it, and preparing it for use in Contractor Foreman.

Steps
1. Verify your Cost Codes
Before exporting, ensure that the Cost Codes in BuilderBid match those in your Contractor Foreman account.
Matching codes will prevent errors during the import process.
2. Export your estimate from BuilderBid
From the Estimate tab, click “Export.”
3. Select the Contractor Foreman export option
Click “Contractor Foreman.”
This will download a file formatted specifically for Contractor Foreman.
4. Import the file into Contractor Foreman
Log in to your Contractor Foreman account.
Navigate to the Estimating tab.
Select Import from CSV file and upload the exported file.
5. Map and import your line items
Contractor Foreman will automatically map your line items.
Click Import to complete the process.
After import, your estimate will appear in Contractor Foreman, ready to track and manage within your project budget.
