The BuilderBid Item Snag Tool Chrome extension lets you quickly capture product details, including text, images, and pricing, from any website and import them directly into your BuilderBid projects. This guide will show you how to install the extension, capture items, and add them to your projects.

Steps to Use the BuilderBid Item Snag Tool
1. Install the Extension
Go to the Chrome Web Store link:
BuilderBid Item Snag ToolClick Add to Chrome.
2. Access the Extension
Click the Extensions button in your Chrome browser.
Select BuilderBid Item Snag Tool.
Log in with your BuilderBid email and password.
3. Capture Items from a Website
Visit any website with product listings.
Click the blue button in the extension.
Highlight the text, phrases, or images you want to capture.
Save the captured item to either:
Your Library
An existing Project
4. Add Captured Items to Your Project
Go to your project in BuilderBid.
Add a new line item.
Click Search Library.
Click the Items button at the top.
Select the item you want to import into your project.
5. Adjust Pricing (Optional)
Click on the Unit Cost cell in the line item to modify the price as needed.
