BuildPass allows administrators to upload Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) on behalf of companies and their workers. This gives you full control over the review, approval, and acknowledgement process.
Step 1: Open the SWMS Module
Log in to BuildPass.
From the left-hand menu, navigate to Safety → SWMS → View all.
Click Upload SWMS in the top-right corner.
Step 2: Upload the SWMS Document
When the upload window opens:
Select the company the SWMS applies to.
Drag and drop the file, or browse your device to select it.
Confirm or update the document name (this is auto-filled from the file name).
Set the document status:
Waiting Review
Reviewed
Changes Requested
Choose whether a worker signature is required
(enabled by default).Optionally assign the SWMS to specific workers.
Click Upload SWMS to complete the process.
Uploading SWMS for Company Workers
Administrators can upload SWMS documents on behalf of companies, allowing workers to review and acknowledge them without relying on company contacts to upload files themselves.

Uploading SWMS for Internal Workers
To upload SWMS for your own internal workforce:
Follow the same steps above
Select your own company during the upload process
Assign the SWMS to relevant internal workers if required
This ensures all workers can access and acknowledge safety documentation directly in BuildPass.
