Buildup has three tiers of user types which can be seen in the matrix below:

-Owner/Developer/Consultant
-General Contractor
-Subcontractor 

In addition to the role each user is given, you can choose the access type. A user’s access only defines what tasks they can see. There are 3 access types:

a. All – All tasks in the project will appear for the user
​b. Only my level – Will only show the user tasks that are either opened by users from companies in his level (Developer/GC/Sub), or assigned to companies in his level.
​c. Only my company – Will only show the user tasks that are either opened by users from his company or assigned to his company.

Project admins can change each individual user's access type in the web. You can also reach out to the Buildup team to adjust user's access type.
