Cover Image
By default, Beacon uses the property photo provided by Zillow. You can replace this with your own image to personalize how your listing appears throughout Beacon.
Your custom cover image replaces the Zillow photo in several places, including:
Your published Beacon report
Your Portfolio
Other areas of the Beacon app where the property's cover image appears
Uploading a Custom Cover Image
Open the Beacon you want to customize and enter Edit Mode.
Select Beacon Settings from the left-hand menu.
Locate the Cover Image section.
Drag and drop your image into the photo area, or click the photo to select an image from your device.
Once uploaded, your custom image replaces the Zillow photo throughout the app.
Recommended image specifications:
Dimensions: A landscape photo at least 1200px wide.
Supported formats: JPG, PNG, or WebP.
Maximum file size: 20 MB.
For best results, choose a high-quality landscape photo that clearly showcases the property.
Important: After uploading a new cover image, republish your Beacon to make the change visible on the published report.
Returning to the Zillow Photo
If you want to remove your custom cover image and restore the original Zillow photo:
Open Beacon Settings.
Find the Cover Image section.
Click Use Zillow photo.
Your custom image will be removed, and Beacon will return to using the property photo provided by Zillow.
Republish your Beacon to ensure the published report reflects the change.
You can upload another custom cover image at any time.
Featured Video
Add a personalized video to your Beacon by replacing the report's header with an embedded video.
Supports Loom, YouTube, Vimeo, and Dailymotion.
Paste your video share URL into the Featured Video field.
When published, the embedded video replaces the report header.
Branding
Customize the branding associated with your listing agent.
Select Listing Agent: Choose the agent associated with this Beacon (if the dropdown is available).
Upload Logo: Add a logo to display on your Beacon.
Brand Colors: Set your Primary and Secondary brand colors using the color picker or by entering hex codes.
Logos and Colors Saved with Agents
The logo and brand colors are saved with the Listing Agent.
Different logos and colors can be saved with different Listing Agents and are recalled when an Agent is selected.
Changes made to branding here only appear on the Seller Report after publishing.
The selected Agent applies only to the specific Beacon. When creating a new report, Beacon attempts to match the agent in the listing with an Agent that already exists in your account. If no match is found, a new Agent is created.
Share with Team Members (Organization Accounts)
Allow other members of your organization to view and edit a Beacon.
Add team members to grant view/edit access.
Multiple users can collaborate on the same Beacon.
Important: If a team member cannot access a Beacon, confirm they have been added under Beacon Settings → Share with Team Members, particularly if the Beacon was created by an Admin.
