Introduction
Selling products and services in bundles is now easier than ever with Bukku’s Product Bundle feature. It allows you to group multiple à la carte products and/or services into a single bundle with one selling or purchasing price, so they can be easily selected and added together in invoices.
This feature is ideal for businesses offering gift sets, promotional packages, seasonal bundles, or bundled service offerings. It helps streamline your workflow by enabling you to add multiple items into transactions in a single step.
Bundles are ideal for:
Gift sets (e.g., hampers, self-care bundles)
Promotional packages
Seasonal or festive bundles
Service packages (e.g. consultation with add-ons)
Frequently sold item combinations
Setting Up a Bundle
To set up a bundle, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Navigate to Bundle Setup
Go to:
Products & Services > Click the ⋯ (3 dots) next to +New > Select +New Bundle.
Step 2: Fill in Basic Info
Start by entering the basic details of your bundle.
Name (required): Enter the bundle name. It must be unique across the system.
SKU / Code: SKU stands for Stock Keeping Unit, a unique identifier used to track the bundle.
Product Image: Upload an image for the bundle (recommended size: 200px x 200px or higher, JPG/PNG/WEBP format).
Groups: Assign the bundle to a product group if applicable.
Step 3: Configure Sale & Purchase Settings
Next, set how the bundle will be used in transactions.
Enable “I’m Selling It” if the bundle will be used in sales transactions
Enable “I’m Buying It” if the bundle will be used in purchase transactions
Add a Default Description if you want to include a short explanation of the bundle
Step 4: Add Items to the Bundle
In the Items section, define what is included in the bundle.
For example, a self-care gift set with an original total value of RM118 may be offered at a promotional bundle price of RM100 after a RM18 discount.
Click + Add Item to select products and/or services
Set the quantity for each item in the bundle
The system will automatically pull the default price of each selected item from the Products & Services module and calculate the bundle’s total value.
You can also apply discounts:
Click + Add Discount to set a fixed discount amount for the bundle
This is useful for promotions and special pricing campaigns
The system will then display the Total Sales Amount for the bundle.
Note:
Bundle pricing is calculated based on the default prices of the selected items as a starting point.
However, this is not fixed. When using the bundle in sales or purchase transactions, you can still:
Edit individual item unit prices
Adjust item quantities
Apply or modify discounts (at bundle level or item level)
Step 5: Add Other Information
In the Other Info section:
Add any additional notes or internal information about the bundle.
Note: Remarks are for internal reference only and will not appear on customer-facing documents.
Once you’ve filled in the required details, click Save.
Note:
You can filter and manage your bundles under the Bundle tab in the Products & Services module.
Using Bundle in Transactions
Once a bundle is created, you can start using it in sales or purchase transactions.
When creating a sales invoice or bill, simply select the bundle, and all items inside the bundle will be automatically added.
You can also adjust the quantity of the bundle based on the transaction.
For example, if a customer purchases 25 sets of the Self-Care Essentials Bundle, you only need to set the quantity as 25, and the system will calculate the total accordingly.
Notes:
You can still edit individual item quantities and unit prices inside the bundle if required before saving the transaction.
You can also adjust discounts at bundle level and/or at item level within the bundle.
This allows full flexibility to customise pricing based on each transaction.
Customise Bundle Display in PDF
You can choose how bundle details are displayed in PDF documents (e.g. invoices), including whether to show or hide item details within the bundle.
To configure:
Go to Control Panel > Form Designs > View your existing form design, then select your preferred option under Bundle Items.
Options available:
Show: Display full bundle item details
Partial: Hide unit prices and amounts
Hide: Do not display bundle item details
Product Bundle Sales Summary Report
The Product Bundle Sales Summary report provides an overview of product bundle sales performance, helping you track the total sales of bundled items.
It helps you gain better insights into which bundles are performing well and supports more informed sales and promotion decisions.
Note:
The current Product Bundle Sales Summary report displays sales based on the original bundle price, before deducting any discounts given.
