Data encryption
At rest -- All data stored in the platform is encrypted using industry-standard encryption algorithms. This includes your database records, uploaded files, and integration credentials.
In transit -- All communication between your browser and Butterflai servers is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). Data moving between internal services is also encrypted.
Role-based access control
Access to data within Butterflai is governed by the role-based permission system described in section 6.2. Users only see the data and features their role permits. This prevents unauthorized access even within your own organization.
Audit trails and interaction logging
Butterflai maintains detailed logs of user interactions and system events. This includes:

No model training on your data
Your data is never used to train AI models. The AI features in Butterflai process your data to answer your questions and generate insights, but your information is not fed into model training pipelines. Your data stays yours.
