If you are trying to set up your Buzzbassador Payout Settings, you may be wondering where you need to go to find your PayPal Client ID and Client Secret. We're here to help!

This article is assuming that you have already set up your PayPal Payouts account, as instructed in this Setup Article. If you haven't yet done that, please head over to that article and do that. If you still need help after that, you can come back here!

To find your PayPal Client Secret:

As stated in the PayPal Payout Integration setup instructions article (Step 5 specifically), here are the steps to find your PayPal Client Secret:

Step 1

Navigate to your Paypal Developer Dashboard. You may need to log into your PayPal business account first.

Step 2

Go to the "My Apps & Credentials" page on the left side menu. On the Sandbox/Live toggle button, make sure the "Live" option is selected. Then, go down to your list of Rest API apps, and select the "Buzzbassador Ambassador Payouts" app.

Step 3

Once the "Buzzbassador Ambassador Payouts" screen is open, click the "Show" button under the header "Secret:". Once the long string of characters shows up, copy it. (**We recommend pasting this into a text edit doc (i.e. Notepad or Google Docs) to keep a log of it.)

Step 4

Lastly, navigate to your Buzzbassador app. Login, and go to Settings (โš™๏ธ) > Payout Settings. In the "PayPal Client Secret" field, paste the Client Secret you copied into the input box. Then click "Save Changes" at the bottom to save your changes!

That's it!

As always, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us via email at support@buzzbassador.com, or through the chat bubble at the bottom right corner of your app window.
