At the start of 2021, we launched a new integration with Klaviyo! 🎉 This integration will allow you to automatically populate your Klaviyo lists with your ambassadors' contact information, organize them into segments based on status and performance, and even create custom, automated email flows for them. But first, you gotta get it set up!
This article will walk you through step-by-step how to integrate your Klaviyo account with Buzzbassador.'

How to Set Up Your Klaviyo Integration
1. Navigate to your Klaviyo API Keys
Log in to your Klaviyo account. Then, under your profile dropdown menu in the top right corner, click "Account"
Once you are on that page, click the dropdown under "Settings", and click "API Keys".
3. Generate a new Private API Key
Once you are looking at the API Key list, click the blue button under the "Private API Keys" section that says "Create API Key".
This will generate you a new Private API Key. Keep in mind that this API Key is like a private password, and should never be exposed to the public. For that reason, I have blurred mine out for this example.
4. Navigate to Buzzbassador's Integration Settings
Once you have generated that new API key, keep that Klaviyo tab open and open Buzzbassador in a new tab or window. Once in your Buzzbassador account, click on the "Settings" icon at the top right (this one: ⚙️) to open your settings. Then, click the "Integrations" tab.
On that page, you will see the Klaviyo integration fields at the bottom. This is where you will paste your API keys in step 5 and 6, so keep this tab open.
5. Paste your Public API Key into Buzzbassador
Go back to your Klaviyo tab, on that same "API Keys" page. At the top, you will see your Public API Key -- it is a short string of random characters in bold. Copy this key to your clipboard.
Once you have it copied, go back to your Buzzbassador Integration settings and paste that key into the "Public API Key" field.
6. Paste your Private API Key into Buzzbassador
Now that your Public API key is set, go back to your Klaviyo tab and copy your newly generated Private API Key. Again, this is the longer string of characters under the "Private API Keys" section, which I have blurred out in my example due to privacy reasons.
Once that key is copied to your clipboard, go back to your Buzzbassador Integration Settings and paste it into the "Private API Key" field.
7. Save your changes
Once both Klaviyo keys are pasted, click the "Save Changes" button to cement the new integration.
And you're good to go! Now your Klaviyo and Buzzbassador accounts should be connected.
