Once you have received an offer, it is now ready to be reviewed and accepted through Cake. To commence this process, you will need to locate the email from Cake that contains a link to view the offer. Click the 'View Your Offer' button at the bottom of this email.

Create an account with Cake using your registered email address. IMPORTANT: You must sign up using the same email address that the offer email was sent to.

After you have created your individual account with Cake, from the main menu, head to the Offers tab. Your offer will be displayed on this page.

Click the 'View ESOP Offer' link.

Once you are viewing the offer, the first step is adding your personal details. Click the button labelled 'Enter details' that appears in the bottom right hand corner. You have the option to review draft offer documents that will be on the right hand side of the page under Documents. (N.B. these are not the final contracts, please proceed with step 6 onwards to view the final contracts).

Enter your details in the fields provided. If you are eligible to add an affiliate who you would like to nominate to hold the options, you can add these details under the Advanced settings. Once all the details have been added correctly, proceed by clicking 'Sign contract' situated at the bottom-right of the pop-up screen to complete.

This will open the Offer Letter and Plan Rules using Cake's DocuSign integration (you won''t need to navigate outside of the Cake platform though!), which will contain all of your Offer terms. You can download this for further review before signing if you wish.

Once you have reviewed the Offer Letter and Plan Rules, electronically sign where prompted and click 'Finish' in the top right corner of the page.

Send your employer a quick note to say thanks through the Cake platform when prompted! Then you're all done 🥳 Your options will be granted, which will kick off the auto-vesting.

From there, you can log in at anytime to view your vesting schedule, and to find all of your plan documents! Happy vesting!
