Overview
Think of a Outreach Agent like a specialized sales rep—one who focuses on a single industry, geography, or persona. You can have as many Agents as you need, each with its own audience and strategy.
When you create a Outreach Agent, you’re giving the system everything it needs to run on its own. You provide the persona, goals, company context, and outreach preferences—and the Agent handles the rest: lead sourcing, message generation, and multi-channel execution.
Launching the Campaign Wizard
New Agents are created via the Campaign Wizard. To get to the Wizard, start by opening the Campaign Editor.
In the left navigation menu, click the Robot icon.
From the pop-up menu, select Agents.
In the Campaign Editor, click Create Campaign in the upper-left corner.
This will launch the Campaign Wizard, where you can begin setting up your new Outreach Agent.
1. Name Your Campaign
This name is internal only—it doesn’t affect how the AI operates. Pick something that clearly reflects the persona or objective (e.g., “SaaS Founders – NYC”).
2. Set Your Campaign Objective
What are you trying to drive—Demos, Meetings, Sign-Ups, or a Webinar?
Select one or more predefined objectives
Or create a Custom Objective
Why it matters: The Agent will tailor every message to drive toward this goal. Want to book demos? Every message will support that ask—and include a booking link if you’ve added one.
You can also add a booking link for the Agent to include in every message if you want to funnel prospects straight to your calendar.
3. Select Your Channels
Choose how the Agent should contact leads—Email, LinkedIn, or Phone. You can mix and match as needed.
Here’s how the Agent decides what to use:
Only sends to leads with a validated email address
All emails are automatically validated to protect your inbox reputation
Sends Connection Requests to leads who have posted in the last 30 days
Sends InMail to leads with Open Profiles or existing connections
Phone
If using CallSine’s dialer, leads with valid numbers will be added to your call queue
The Agent also provides research on each lead directly in the dialer
[More on how the Agent selects channels → How CallSine Agents Balance Multi-Channel Outreach]
4. Define Your Audience
Decide how you want the Agent to source prospects:
Manual: You’ll import your own list and assign prospects later
Auto: The Agent will find leads for you using natural language targeting
Connections: The Agent will pull leads from your LinkedIn Connections. (Note: You must have already connected your LinkedIn account to CallSine for this to be available.)
Note: You can't change your Agent type (Auto, Manual, etc) after exiting the Campaign Wizard.
If using Auto:
Enter your audience description (e.g., “VPs, Sales Directors, and Sales Managers at mid-size software companies in Philadelphia”) and click Test.
The Agent will:
Translate your description into filters (e.g., Title → VP, Industry → Software)
Show you sample leads that match
Flag missing criteria if your search needs improvement
Tweak your instructions as needed and re-test until the examples look right.
If using Manual:
Once you've finished creating your Agent, you'll want to go to the People Table and either manually upload your leads or assign already-uploaded leads to your new Agent.
[More on manually uploading prospects → How to Use Outreach Agents with Manually Imported Prospects]
Why it matters: These instructions define who the Agent pulls in daily. You can update them later using the Guidelines tab in the Campaign Editor.
If using Connections:
When running a Connections campaign, your Agent will automatically pull prospects from your current LinkedIn connections. You can further refine targeting by providing instructions on the Instructions tab.
For example: “Only reach out to CEOs in finance.”
This allows you to control which segments of your LinkedIn network your Agent engages with.
Important: You must have a LinkedIn account connected to CallSine to run a Connections campaign.
[How to connect your LinkedIn account → How to Add and Manage Sender Accounts]
5. Set Your Daily Volume
Choose how many new prospects the Agent should reach out to each day.
Each email inbox adds a default of 20 contacts/day
You can adjust the total volume manually to any value lower than the default
LinkedIn accounts don’t increase volume automatically, as LinkedIn has its own rate limits
If you have no inboxes connected, you'll have the option to add new Sender Accounts, which are the accounts your Agent will use to send outreach from.
Note: You must connect Sender Accounts before you are able to launch your Agent.
[More on adding sender accounts → How to Add and Manage Sender Accounts]
6. Choose Your Materials
Materials are what the Agent studies to learn your product. Materials can either be website URLs or text documents, such as PDFs, .doc or .docx files, power point files, etc.
You will need to select at least two materials for your Agent to be able to move to the next step. This is to ensure that the Agent has enough context and information to write outreach.
Important: Only select materials that are relevant to the vertical or persona this Agent will be targeting. The Agent treats these as the single source of truth—just like you’d train a new sales rep.
[More on adding materials → How to Upload Materials for Your Agent]
To upload:
Click Add Websites or Add Materials
You can also manage them later on the Materials page
[More on the materials page → How to Use the Materials Page]
7. Add Strategic Instructions
Use this section to add any specific campaign strategy notes. For example:
Highlight a key case study
Promote a limited-time offer
Focus messaging on a new feature or event
You can update this later using the Guidance feature in the Campaign Editor.
Manual Campaigns
When running a Manual campaign, you are required to provide some basic details about the prospects you upload. This helps the Agent craft more targeted outreach. Examples include:
Job title
Industry
Geography
Without this information, the Agent cannot effectively personalize messages for manually uploaded prospects.
Connections Campaigns
When running a Connections campaign, you are required to provide additional details about the people you want the Agent to target from your LinkedIn connections. Examples include:
Job title
Industry
Geography
This ensures the Agent is writing targeted sales outreach to the right individuals—not personal contacts such as family members or friends.
Final Step: Launch
Click Next to create your Outreach Agent. You’ll be taken to the Campaign Editor, where you can:
Review and edit your Agent’s settings
Monitor performance
Preview messaging and lead activity
