How the Agent Finds and Validates Prospects

Learn how your Outreach Agent uses CallSine’s contact database to find, and validate the right prospects for your campaign—automatically.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Overview

One of the most powerful features of the Outreach Agent is its ability to source and validate high-quality prospects for you. Using the target persona you provide, the Agent identifies the right leads, checks their contact data, and prepares them for personalized, multichannel outreach—without any manual input.

Where Prospects Come From: CallSine’s Contact Database

All prospects are pulled from CallSine’s proprietary database of over 120 million verified contacts. Each record includes:

  • A validated LinkedIn profile

  • Company information

  • Role-specific details

  • (When available) Verified email addresses and phone numbers

The database is updated regularly to ensure high-quality, accurate, and compliant data. When the Agent adds a contact to your campaign, it also performs an additional email validation to prevent outreach to bad or bounced addresses.

How Prospect Sourcing Works

Step 1: Defining the Target Persona

When creating an agent in the Campaign Wizard, you provide your target persona using natural language—for example:

“VPs, Sales Directors, and Sales Managers at mid-size software companies in Philadelphia.”

The Agent interprets your input and selects the appropriate filters to search the database.

Note: If the persona is missing key details (e.g., company size), the Agent will pause and prompt you for clarification to ensure a complete and targeted list. This ensures every campaign starts with a strong, specific audience—neither too broad nor too narrow.

Step 2: Creating the Prospect List

Once the campaign is created, the Agent builds a list of matching prospects using the selected filters.

If the Agent determines that the resulting list is too small or not well-aligned, it will automatically iterate, adjusting the filters (without compromising your original intent) to create a more viable list.

Step 3: Enriching Prospects

Once a sufficient list has been built, the Agent begins enriching each prospect. This process checks for:

  • Fit with your defined persona

  • Completion of required data fields

  • Eligibility for the selected outreach channels (email, LinkedIn, phone)

Step 4: Prospect Research

After enrichment, the Agent performs a final round of prospect research to gather:

  • Company details

  • LinkedIn activity

  • Additional signals to personalize outreach

Note: Once research is complete, prospects will appear in the People tab. Click into any contact to view their profile and example messaging.

After Prospect Sourcing: Reviewing Your Agent

At this stage, your Agent is fully assembled. You can now:

  • Review the selected prospects

  • Generate example outreach

  • Make any necessary changes before launch

Once launched, the Agent will enter its daily operating mode.

Prospect Sourcing in the Daily Flow

After launch, your Agent continues sourcing new leads daily, using the same logic and filters applied during setup.

Each day, the Agent:

  • Brings in enough prospects to match the Volume setting

  • Enriches and validates each contact

  • Performs research to support personalized outreach

  • Adds qualified prospects to the campaign and sends scheduled messages

  • Checks for updates to the target persona made by the user (via Guidance)
