How to Create a Dynamic List or Remove Voters from Your Walklists or Phonelists
Creating a dynamic list or removing voters who have already voted from your walklists or phonelists is a simple process that can be done through the gear icon in the top right of your screen. Follow these steps to get started:
Step 1: Accessing the Survey and Data Settings
Click on the gear icon in the top right of your screen to access the settings menu. From there, select "Survey and Data Settings".
Step 2: Navigating to Dynamic Lists
In the "Survey and Data Settings" menu, click on "Dynamic Lists". This will bring you to a page where you can manage your dynamic lists.
Step 3: Creating a New Configuration
On the "Dynamic Lists" page, click on the "Create a New Configuration" button. This will open a new window where you can name your function.
For example, if you are removing voters who have already voted, you can name the function "Already Voted Purge".
Step 4: Configuring the Settings
Once you have named your function, you will need to configure the settings. To the right of the name, select the "-" option. Then, select the tag that you uploaded (the tag that includes the voters you want to remove or add).
For the "List Type" setting, select either "Walk", "Phone", or "All" depending on the type of list you want to modify. For the last setting, "List", select "All".
Choose your preferred execution time and press "Create".
Step 5: Executing the Configuration
Once your configuration is created, go back to the "Dynamic Lists" page and select the three vertical dots in the column that says "Actions". From the dropdown menu, select "Execute". This will apply your configuration and remove the voters from your list.
Remember to upload an updated list of voters who have already voted and keep the tag name the same so that it replaces the old file.
Congratulations, you have successfully created a dynamic list or removed voters from your walklists or phonelists!
