Modifying your booking
Need to make a few changes to your trip? No problem! Here’s how you can update your booking:
Just a quick heads-up: If your host uses Instant booking, your changes are confirmed right away! If they use Booking on request, your host will just need to hit accept first - you will be notified within 24 hours. We’ll send you a notification the moment everything is finalized!
Canceling your booking
If you need to cancel your trip, please follow these steps:
Go to “My Trips” in your account.
Click on the booking you wish to cancel.
Click on 'Cancel Booking' and provide a reason in the comment field for the host.
Your refund will depend on the host’s cancellation policy. You can view the cancellation terms in your booking details or read our full cancellation policy for more information. It can take up to 5–7 business days for the funds to be back in your account.
Can't see your booking?
If you’ve made a booking and can’t find it, we recommend logging in with the email you used during the booking and clicking on “My Trips.”
If you have multiple email addresses, you can also try logging in with them - your booking may have been made with a different email address than the one you usually use.
If you still can’t see your booking, try a different browser or open a private/incognito window. If the issue continues, feel free to contact us - we’re happy to help!
Amount reserved, but booking was declined or expired
If you submitted a booking request, the amount is reserved on your account.
If the request is declined or expired, the amount will automatically be released – usually within 1-5 business days depending on your bank.
There can be several reasons why a booking request gets declined. You can usually see the host’s explanation by logging in.
