Cancelling a booking and getting a refund

If you need to cancel your booking, the amount you’ll be refunded depends on the host's cancellation policy. Below, you'll find details on how to cancel and what to expect regarding refunds.

How to cancel your booking

To cancel your booking, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Campanyon account.

  2. Go to "My trips" under your profile.

  3. Select the booking you want to cancel.

  4. Click "Cancel booking" and confirm your cancellation.

Once canceled, you’ll receive a confirmation email.

Refund policy

Your refund is based on the cancellation policy set by the host:

Super flexible

If you cancel the booking:

  • Less than 24 hours prior to check-in day and time: You will not receive a refund.

  • At least 24 hours prior to check-in day and time: You will receive a full refund (minus service fees).

Flexible

If you cancel the booking:

  • Less than 7 days prior to check-in day and time: You will not receive a refund.

  • At least 7 days prior to check-in day and time: You will receive a full refund (minus service fees).

Moderate

If you cancel the booking:

  • Less than 14 days prior to check-in day and time: You will not receive a refund.

  • At least 14 days prior to check-in day and time: You will receive a full refund (minus service fees).

Strict

If you cancel the booking:

  • Less than 14 days prior to check-in day and time: You will not receive a refund.

  • Less than 30 days and at least 14 days prior to check-in day and time: You will receive a 50% refund (minus service fees).

  • At least 30 days prior to check-in day and time: You will receive a full refund (minus service fees).

Super Strict

If you cancel the booking:

  • Less than 30 days prior to check-in day and time: You will not receive a refund.

  • Less than 60 days and at least 30 days prior to check-in day and time: You will receive a 50% refund (minus service fees).

  • At least 60 days prior to check-in day and time: You will receive a full refund (minus service fees).

Non-refundable

  • More than 14 days until check-in day and time: The guest can change the date of their stay.

  • Less than 14 days prior to check-in day and time: Non-refundable.

Note: Refunds do not include the service fee charged on the booking, except when the host cancels a booking or declines a request.

Refund processing time

  • If you are eligible for a refund, it will be processed within a few business days.

  • The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider

  • If you used a gift card, the refunded amount will be returned to your gift card balance.
