Archiving a Plan
Archiving plans is a helpful feature for managing long-term Media Plans, keeping your main view clean and focused. This article will walk you through how to archive a plan and what happens when you do.
What Happens When You Archive a Plan
When a plan is archived, it becomes locked—users can no longer make changes to it. This ensures the final version is preserved, while still allowing the archived plan to appear across various views such as Media Overview, Calendar, and Sheet View.

Administrative Control: Only administrators have control over the archiving and unarchiving process.
Visibility of Archived Plans: Archived plans remain present but locked, allowing for continuous evaluation of historical data.
Display of Archived Plans: When archived plans are displayed, they will have an archive icon and will appear greyed out. They are displayed alongside active plans.
Hidden in Navigation Plans Menu: Archived plans are hidden in navigation but can be unarchived by the administrator.
Access to Archived Plans: To consult archived plans, you can press a button to view archived plans in the navigation. This feature is available not only to administrators, but also to editors and viewers.
How to Archive or Unarchive a Plan
Identify the Plan to Archive: Locate the plan you'd like to archive in the “Select plans” menu on the left.
Activate Archiving: Click the three dots (•••) next to the plan’s name and select Archive from the menu.
Unarchive if Needed: To unarchive a plan, follow the same steps and select Unarchive from the menu.
