CampusReel's video message software allows any user to quickly record a video of their webcam, screen or both at the same time - and easily send the video to a prospect or other recipient.

Video messages create a direct, personal, and authentic connection between a person and their message recipient. It can often be difficult to convey complex ideas in email, and text doesn't build trust or connection the same way a video can. Video messages are a low-effort way to say anything you'd write in an email, but do so in video!

Use Cases

You can use video messages throughout the enrollment funnel to build relationships. Here are a few of the most common ways our clients use video messages:

  1. Thank a student/family for visiting campus

  2. Welcome a new lead/inquiry after they enter your funnel

  3. Answer a question that was emailed to you or your team

  4. Congratulate a prospect on being accepted!

  5. Anything else you'd write in an email, say in a video

How to Record a Video Message

  1. If you're signed into CampusReel, hover over the "Create" button and select "Record a Video Message".

  2. Select if you want to record your webcam, screen, or both. You'll be able to preview your webcam on this screen.

  3. Click "Start Recording". A countdown will begin - once the countdown changes to a red blinking circle the recording is in progress.

  4. Click the red blinking circle to stop the recording.

  5. You can rewatch your recording and continue, or select to redo it

  6. If you continue with the recording, you can set a title and thumbnail on the next screen

  7. Copy/paste the link or link + thumbnail into any email composer and click send!

  8. Check the analytics on your video to see if anyone watched it!
