Why is this important?

Incorporating video into email nurture streams is an excellent way to increase click through rates, build trust, and engage prospects. However, email clients do not technically allow for video to be streamed directly within the body of an email.

Think about it... you've actually never watched a video inside an email. You're always re-directed or "linked-out" to another webpage. Usually a Youtube page.

Youtube is the world's default content management system, so this makes sense. But as a CampusReel partner institution, you have a better option! This is where our Custom Video Landing Page comes into play.

Yes, video builds trust and brand affinity. Yes, it increases open rates and CTR. But what happens next? Did that student go down a Youtube rabbit hole where they started exploring Harry Styles music videos or -- even worse -- content from competitor institutions (gasp!)?

Make the most of your video content by not only delivering a clean, distraction-free viewing experience, but also increase the chances that the viewer take at least one meaningful next step in their enrollment journey by customizing up to THREE calls to action, right on the landing page.

Here's how it looks in action:

How to configure your Video Landing Page

From your admin panel, select Landing Page.

Upload your preferred logo, and sync it to any URL.

Add up to THREE calls to action. Customize the button colors to align with your brand. You can get exact by inputting your hex codes from the color selector tool.

Preview your landing page by clicking "Preview." This will pull the most recently uploaded video from your library.

How to generate unique URL for any video or playlist

From the Videos or Playlists section of your admin dashboard, select the orange sharing icon on the far right of the screen.

This will pull up your sharing options. Select Email Campaign Link.

  • If you'd like just the URL, select the purple "Copy URL Only" button to add it to your clipboard.

  • If you'd like both the URL and the thumbnail, select the white "Copy Thumbnail Image & URL" and both will be added to your clipboard.

  • Paste the contents into the body of your email, or hyperlink an existing image.
