Your SkillsID is a list of your existing skills based on your experience. Your skills can either be taken from an uploaded resume using AI or manually added using the SkillsID tool.
To get your SkillsID, go to the SkillsID page and either select Quickly Build SkillsID or Search and Add Skills.
Quickly Build SkillsID
To upload your resume, or parse a saved resume (from Thrive), select this option. Click on Build, to get a SkillsID generated.
Search and Add Skills
Use this option to search for skills that may not be seen in your list of skills. There are over 30,000 skills connected to Thrive. Simply start typing and select from the drop-down that appears. These will be added to your skills.
You can also add skills to your profile while browsing careers in the Career Path Explorer.
As you explore different career paths, you’ll see a “+” icon next to each skill. Simply click it to add the skill to your profile (SkillsID) instantly. Your skill gap analysis updates in real time and carries across every career you explore.

Navigate to the Career Path Explorer from your dashboard
Enter the role and location of your choice
See a skill you have? Tap the “+” icon to add it to your profile (SkillsID)
Your skill gap analysis updates in real time as you add skills
The more skills you add, the more accurate your matches and recommendations become!
