To be considered for funding, applicants must meet several eligibility requirements:
Be a Canadian incorporated business that has generated no more than $5M in annual revenues as per their last filed fiscal year.
Be seeking to demonstrate a piloting or demonstration opportunity for a technology or solution that has yet to be commercialized.
The project must be located in southern Ontario within one of the eligible census catchment areas listed in the program guide.
The Applicant must be a CFIN member. Membership is free and can be applied for through www.cfin-rcia.ca/becomeamember.
The innovation must demonstrate a technology readiness level (TRL) of 6 to 7.
