Yes, certain expenses are specifically defined as ineligible for CFIN reimbursement. Examples include interest or other costs of borrowing, losses on investments or other projects, federal and provincial income taxes, hospitality, entertainment, meals, gifts, donations, dues or other memberships, advertising (unless directly related to project activities), and recruiting fees.
