What project costs are not eligible for Ontario Food Technology Pilot funding?

Certain expenses cannot be reimbursed through the Ontario Food Technology Pilot Program.

Common Ineligible Costs

Examples include:

  • Interest and borrowing costs

  • Investment losses

  • Federal income taxes

  • Provincial income taxes

  • Hospitality expenses

  • Entertainment expenses

  • Meals

  • Gifts

  • Donations

  • Membership fees

  • Recruiting fees

  • Advertising not directly related to project activities
