Address a priority defined in the call details
Be at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3 to 7
TRL 8–9 allowed only if combined with TRL 3–7 work
Use Canadian-owned intellectual property
Be completed within one year of approval
Be conducted in Canada
Meeting these requirements does not guarantee funding.
