What are the intellectual property (IP) rules for an Innovation Scouting Fund project?

You retain ownership of your intellectual property.

However, you must agree that:

  • The IP must remain in Canada for at least 5 years after project completion

  • CFIN and the call sponsor do not take ownership of your IP

CFIN may support commercialization activities.
