The program does not fund:
Farm-level agriculture projects
Primary production activities
Standard technology adoption projects without R&D or demonstration activities
Projects led by companies that do not own the technology IP
Conventional technologies already widely used in the food industry unless deployed in a novel way
Examples of generally ineligible projects include:
Standard lighting retrofits
Conventional solar installations
Basic equipment replacement projects
