Your custom domain could be for example talent.yourwebsite.com or candidates.yourwebsite.com
Simply pick a word that should be placed before yourwebsite.com and let us know.
Our team will set up the custom domain for you and provide you with instructions to make changes to your CNAME records. This usually takes up to 24 hours to complete.
What is a DNS?
DNS stands for “domain name system” and it’s the internet-wide phone book that tells browsers how to resolve a human-readable name (like www.google.com) to an IP address of a server (like 142.251.33.78) that the browser can open a connection to.
Point your subdomain to Candidately with a CNAME record
To point a subdomain such as candidates.talentbird.ai to your Shared List, you must create a CNAME record with your DNS provider.
Go to your DNS provider’s website.
Go to the DNS section on your provider's website.
Add one CNAME record for your Shared Lists with your desired subdomain that points to the URL that was provided to you by Candidately's support.
Add another CNAME record. The name, as well as the destination, will also be provided to you by Candidately's support. This record is necessary to verify that you are the domain owner.

Is the connection encrypted?
Yes, Candidately offers HTTPS on all sites, including automatic certificate creation and renewal. Our certificates use the modern TLS protocol, which has replaced the now deprecated SSL standard.
