Candid gives you the ability sync with ShipStation so that you can manage all your order and shipment actions from one place but every once in awhile things might not sync up right. This article is regularly updated with known troubleshooting solutions.

Check the shipment settings in the order

Sometimes it's just as easy as the click of a button. If you notice ShipStation isn't syncing check the sales order first and make sure the "Ready To Ship" button is toggled to the "on" position. This sends the order to ShipStation, then "Send Shipment" advances its state from "Ready to Ship" to "Shipped".

From inside the order toggle this button to the right-hand position:

Note: Orders that haven't been marked ready to ship will go to the "On Hold" section on approval of an order in Candid.

Reconfigure a Store Connection

Reconfiguring a store connection is a standard troubleshooting technique that can resolve the most common store update issues in ShipStation.

You may need to reconfigure your store connection for the following reasons:

  • You've updated the username and password for the store or marketplace.

  • ShipStation's authentication credentials for your store or marketplace have expired.

  • An update has adjusted your store or marketplace's URL structure.

  • You need to adjust store settings that were set at the time of connection.

To reconfigure your store's connection with ShipStation, follow the steps below:

  1. In ShipStation, go to Account Settings (the wrench icon in the upper right).

  2. Select Selling Channels from the left-hand sidebar, then choose Store Setup.

  3. Click Connection next to the store you want to reconfigure.

  4. Follow the instructions in the store connection window.
