Candy customers can withdraw cryptocurrency to their crypto wallet from the Candy platform.
** The only cryptocurrency that is accepted for withdrawal is USDC (ERC-20). You can connect your Metamask or any of the crypto wallets supported by WalletConnect to withdraw USDC.
The guide below will cover the withdrawal process using MetaMask, but should be a similar process for most wallets. **
What is USDC? USD Coin (aka USDC) is a digital currency that is fully backed by U.S. dollar assets. USDC is a type of cryptocurrency that is referred to as a "stablecoin". You can always redeem 1 USD Coin for US $1.00, giving it a stable price. The value of USDC is designed to remain stable, thus why USDC is called a stablecoin! Despite its name, it is important to note that USDC is not issued or backed by the U.S. government.

How to Withdraw:
You must have a MetaMask account in order to withdraw USDC (ERC-20) on the Candy platform.

Note: There is a flat $5.00 withdrawal fee for all crypto withdrawals
You can only withdraw UDSC once every 5 days.

To initiate a USDC withdrawal:
Login to your Candy account
On the top right of the page, click the drop down next to your name
Click Settings
Go to the Billing tab
Click on ‘Withdrawal’
Select USDC to Crypto Account, and click 'Next'
Connect your wallet
After you connect, you will be brought back to the Candy website, and it will show that you have successfully connected your wallet. Click 'Next' to proceed.
Select the currency USDC (ERC-20)
Set your withdrawal amount (Minimum is 75)
Note: There is a flat $5.00 withdrawal fee for all crypto withdrawals
Click ‘Next’ to complete the process
When you have successfully submitted your withdrawal request, you will receive an email confirmation that it has been initiated.
Typically Crypto withdrawals take 3 to 5 business days to process, however in some cases they may take up to 30 days to complete.
You will also receive an email when the withdrawal has been completed.

*Don’t see USDC on your MetaMask account? Don’t worry! There are a few steps to take to add USDC to your MetaMask:
Log-in to your Metamask and click on ‘Import Tokens’.
The page 'Add Tokens' will open. Click on the tab ‘Custom Token’. See the screenshot below:
After you click on Custom Token, copy and paste this USDC contract address: 0xa0b86991c6218b36c1d19d4a2e9eb0ce3606eb48
MetaMask will display USDC as a token symbol field and number 6 in Decimals of Precision field. Click on the ‘Add Custom Token’ button. See the screenshot below:
Lastly, click on the ‘Import Tokens’ button and the USDC token will be added to your Metamask Wallet.
Ta-Da! You will see the token under the “Assets” tab. You will now be able to send or receive USDC.
*If you verified your identity on your Candy account using a passport or social security number, you may get an error that directs you to contact Compliance@Candy.io. You will have to provide your driver’s license to our Compliance team who will confirm your location.
