Your Marketplace(s)

On Capcade, you can place transactions in marketplaces you join or, if your account enables it, in marketplaces you create and manage yourself.

The beauty is that you can post a transaction in multiple marketplaces so you can reach your desired audience.

Creating a Private Marketplace

  1. Go to the Marketplace section

  2. Select (your organization's) marketplaces

  3. Click the Create Marketplace button

  4. Give the marketplace a name and description (optional) and click create

Inviting specific users and organizations to your Marketplace

1. Click on the relevant marketplace

2. Select the invite button on the upper right

3. Follow the invitation dialogue to add individual users or organizations to your marketplace

These users will now be able to both see teasers of transactions that have been placed inside this marketplace and post their own teasers for transactions they want to place inside this marketplace.

please note - when you invite external organizations to the marketplace, the admins of that external organization can assign their users to the marketplace; when you invite specific users and groups, the access is limited to just them

Publishing a transaction teaser inside a marketplace

If the transaction has not been published yet

  1. Go to the Transactions section

  2. Select (your organization's) transactions

  3. Click on the relevant transaction

  4. Click the publish transaction button

  5. Select which marketplace(s) you would like the transaction teaser to appear and click publish

If the transaction has already been published

  1. Go to the Transactions section

  2. Select (your organization's) transactions

  3. Click on the relevant transaction

  4. Select Settings

  5. Click the Edit Visibility button

  6. Select which marketplace(s) you would like the transaction teaser to appear and click save changes

The transaction will now appear in the relevant marketplace(s), and participants in those marketplaces will be able to see the anonymous teaser.

If desired, counterparties can request more access and further information relating to the transaction by click the request access button after selecting the relevant teaser.

And remember, even if a counterparty has joined a transaction, the transaction owner still controls what content they see at different stages of the deal lifecycle.
