Chat Channels

At Capcade, we are constantly working to improve your communication and collaboration experience. With our new Chat Channels feature, you can have greater control over your conversations, enabling you to manage your interactions more efficiently.

This guide will walk you through the process of creating, managing, and navigating chat channels in Capcade.

Creating a Chat Channel

  1. Navigate to the chat section on the right-hand side of your Capcade dashboard.

  2. Click on the 'pencil' icon in the top right hand cornder of the chat window

  3. Select "Channel" from the drop-down menu

  4. In the window, enter a name for your channel and select contacts to be part of the channel

  5. Click 'Create'.

Manage a Chat Channel

  1. Navigate to the Chat Channel

  2. Select the more option menu '...' in the top right hand corner

  3. From here you can manage the members in the Chat Channel, rename the Channel or Mute notifications of the Chat Channel

Managing members

  1. Select the members option from the drop down menu in the more menu to see who is part of the channel

  2. You can add new members using the add user icon in the top right of the pop-up

  3. Use the more options on the right of contacts to remove them from a Channel

Leaving a Channel

  1. Navigate to the desired channel.

  2. Click on the more options menu "..."

  3. Scroll down to 'Leave Channel'.

Chat Channels in Capcade are a powerful tool to help you streamline your conversations and improve your collaboration. By managing your channels effectively, you can ensure that your team's communication is organized and efficient.

Remember, as the channel owner, you have control over the members and the name of the channel. Use these features to customize your chat experience and make collaboration a breeze.
