Why change your check-in day?

Your check-in day should fit your routine, not fight it. If you find yourself consistently missing your scheduled day or checking in late, switching to a day that works better for your lifestyle is the simplest fix.

How to change your check-in day on Carbon

  • Go to Settings and tap Coach Settings

  • Tap Check-In Day

  • Select your new check-in day

Your check-in schedule will update immediately.

What happens after you change your check-in day?

If you move your check-in day to a later day in the week, your current check-in period will extend beyond seven days for that one cycle. After your first check-in on the new day, Carbon returns to its normal 7-day schedule going forward.

Frequently asked questions about changing your check-in day

Can you change your check-in day at any time? Yes. You can update your check-in day at any time via Settings > Coach Settings > Check-In Day.

Will changing your check-in day affect your targets? No. Your current targets stay in place until your next check-in is completed. Changing your check-in day only affects your schedule, not your macros or calories.

What if your new check-in day creates a longer period this week? That is normal. Moving to a later day in the week extends your current period beyond seven days once. After your first check-in on the new day, Carbon locks back into a standard 7-day cycle.

Additional details

  • Moving your check-in day earlier in the week shortens your current period. Moving it later extends it, but only for that one cycle

  • If you are consistently missing your check-in day, changing it is a more reliable solution than checking in late or early each week

  • Your full log history and targets are unaffected by changing your check-in day

Now it's time to set a check-in day that works for you and build the consistent weekly rhythm that gets results!
