Every patient has a preferred method of communicating with your practice. Some patients prefer emails, some prefer text messages, and some prefer a good old-fashioned phone call. The steps below outline how to adjust individual patient settings to ensure they are being contacted the way they want to be contacted.

To change a patient's preferred method of communication:

  1. Go to the Patient Profile by searching for the patient's name using the πŸ” search box at the top right of the platform

  2. Once on the Patient's Profile, click Edit on the top right of the Patient Info card

  3. Click on the Settings tab at the top right

  4. Scroll down to the Contact Methods section

  5. Edit your patient's Contact Methods by turning ON (Purple) or OFF (Grey) Email, SMS, and/or Phone

  6. Remember to click Save

πŸ’‘ If you want to change the frequency at which Donna communicates with an individual patient, read How To Change the Frequency of Reminders for an Individual Patient.
