When you need to perform maintenance/updates on your Practice Management Software, CareCru's connector service needs to be disabled to get all the PMS' database connections to close as well:

Here is a description of the Windows services that CareCru installs:

1. Connectorcache - This runs an in-memory datastore for us. This would not cause any issues during a Dentrix maintenance

2. ConnectorService - This is our main service, and the one that has the active database connections to Dentrix

3. ConnectorWDService - This service monitors and restarts the ConnectorService, should that service shut down

Please note that in order to properly disable the services in the event of a PMS maintenance, first disable the ConnectorWDService, then the ConnectorService. If you disable the ConnectorService first, the ConnectorWDService will automatically try to restart it.
