A "Direct" source in Call Tracking means that a website visitor directly came to your website (most often by directly typing in the URL) and not through another website.
We are not tracking when patients call your practice's original (direct) phone number. We are only tracking phone calls from website visitors who call one of the Call Tracking Numbers on the site itself.
Therefore, you may have patients who call from Yelp, Google Maps, or Facebook that may be calling your direct line. These callers would not be tracked or recorded.
If you would like us to track and record your original phone number, we can port your phone number over to track that as well. This process takes 4-6 weeks and you would need to fill out 2 forms and provide an invoice of your telephone service.
