It's important now more than ever that you have a strong online presence as more and more patients use the internet to find local businesses. You need more than just a website to rank high on the search engine results pages (SERPs). Social media pages, online business directories, backlinks, content, etc all factor into how search engines - such as Google Search - determine whether you rank on the first page or not.

Donna can help you with that! You can check your currently Listing Score by accessing the Marketing page > Listings.

On the Listings page in CareCru, check for

1. Which accounts your business has
2. If the information is accurate and informative. Some of the statuses that you can see here are as follows: -

  • Accurate Listing Found - No change is needed

  • Listing found with possible errors - Update the listing on that webpage

  • Listing not found - If you would like to be listed, create a listing on that webpage

Make sure to keep consistency in all your online listings and social media profiles, and always add the following information:

Your Practice's Name
Your website URL (e.g. www.carecru.com)
Phone #
Email Address
Your Practice's Address

1. Search engines

  • Google Business Account

Google wants to make sure that the information they provide searchers is accurate and informative. They also want to help local businesses. Google gives qualifying local businesses a FREE online listing that local businesses can claim and verify. This listing includes your company's name, address, phone number (NAP), business hours, and other information that helps local customers find you online.

If you haven't claimed your company's Google My Business listing yet, visit https://www.google.com/business to get the process going. Or, if you don't have an account created, follow the steps by clicking on this link How to create a Google Business Account

Add photos to your Google Business Account to appeal to more potential patients - remember that your online presentation matters! Here's a video that explains how to add photos to your Google Listing.
