By default, Donna will only send out communication messages such as Reminders, Recalls & Review requests to patients marked as Active in your practice management software.
Those marked as Inactive will still appear within the CareCru patient list - Search, Search in chat, Patient Management section - but no automated communication will be sent unless you do one of the following:
To send all communication (Reminders, Recalls & Review requests)
- Set the patient to ACTIVE in your practice management software.
To send Reminders only to Inactive patients
- Navigate to Account Settings > Donna > Reminders
- Click on the gear icon (Available to users with the user role OWNER)
- Toggle Send Appointment Reminders to Inactive Patients to ON
- Click SAVE
