How do I use an alternative Online Scheduling solution?

Learn how to direct patients to an alternative online scheduling solution with your recare messages.

Some practices might not yet be comfortable with Online Scheduling, but still want Donna's Recare automation turned ON. This guide provides a great solution if you would like to direct patients to an alternative booking application.

NOTE: This would affect where the link takes the patient in Donna's Recall Messages.

To do this, simply go to Settings > Practice > Online Scheduling, type in the URL you would like to direct patients to, and click Save.

If this field is left empty, Donna will direct patients to your Website URL that is set in your General Settings. You can see exactly where that field is below:

IMPORTANT: If you'd like to direct patients to an alternative Online Booking solution, but still enable Reviews. You can do this by ensuring the Online Scheduling URL is set, as shown above, and your practice's website is set in the General Settings.

So to recap. If the Online Scheduling URL is set, then the links in Donna's Recare messages to schedule online will direct patients to that URL. If the Online Scheduling URL is NOT set, then Donna will default to directing patients to the URL in the General Settings.
