Here is a quick guide on the best practices to get the most out of your Follow Up list and how to stay on top of any patient-related, time sensitive, tasks.
There are 2 Follow-ups lists under patient management:
Follow Ups – List of patients with incomplete Follows Ups assigned to any practice users
My Follow Ups (past 30 days) – List of patients with incomplete Follow-ups assigned to you only
Look for a notification on the Clipboard Icon on the top right corner of your screen when you first sign in. Click the Notification button for quick access to the Follow Ups.
Working through the My Follow Ups (past 30 days)
We recommend starting at the top as by default the list is ordered by Due Date
To see the follow-up details Click on the Arrow beside the patient’s name to expand the Profile>Timeline & Activities
Click the Follow Up header
To mark as Completed, Toggle ON ‘Task Complete
Click Update
💡If the follow-up task is still pending or needs to be edited, follow the steps in this guide on How to Edit a Follow Up.
Can't find a Follow Up?
Use the Filter icon on the Patients Profile to filter the Timeline & Activities section.
Filter your Follow Up List
Would you like to filter your Follow Up's assigned to a certain team member that is possibly on sick or vacation leave?
You can drill down the follow-up list using any of the following inputs:
Due Date Range
Created By
Assigned To
Reason
Status
Go to the Filter section on the right side of the list and click the down arrow
Enter the Filter criteria (one or multiple fields)
The list will automatically be filtered using the selected inputs
For example, the below input will show me all the incomplete Predetermination follow-ups due from July 31st, 2022 - August 4th, 2022, that were created by Denise, and Assigned to Christine.
