How to remove patients from the Waitlist

Learn how to remove patients from the Waitlist to always have an updated list of patients you can contact for last minutes openings

There are two ways that a patient can be removed from the waitlist :

  1. Automatically

  2. Manually

To automatically remove patients from the Waitlist -

  1. Booked + Waiting Patients = If a patient is scheduled for an appointment and is waiting to come in sooner for that appointment, select that appointment date from the list of upcoming appointments in the Available until date field when adding the patient.
    - Once this appointment date is in the past, Donna will automatically remove the patient from the Waitlist.

  2. Waiting, with no upcoming appointments = Pre-assign a random date that you would like the patient to be automatically removed from the waitlist as the Available Until Date. (e.g you only want patients to be on the waitlist for 30 days, so assign the Available until date as 30 days from today).
    - Donna will automatically remove the patient once this date is in the past.

To manually remove the patients from the waitlist (will be applicable for all patients that do not have an Available Until date)

Multiple patients at once:

  1. Select the check box beside the patients' names that you would like to remove from the waitlist

  2. Click Remove from Waitlist

  3. Confirm removal

Single Patient:

  1. Click on the three dots at the end of the row

  2. Select Remove

  3. Confirm Removal
