Payer Details Suggestions
For many payers, Careflow automatically pulls payer details from the referral documents and displays them as suggestions. These suggestions are shown on a dedicated card where you can run eligibility checks directly.
Running Eligibility Checks
Careflow offers multiple methods for running eligibility checks to verify financial information:
Waystar
SEEK
Manual Entry
For facilities that use Guided Care for eligibility checks, Careflow integrates seamlessly, allowing you to send all checks to Guided Care directly as an additional check method.
Adding Benefits and Eligibility Details
You can add additional benefits and eligibility information to a check you have already run. This allows you to ensure all details are complete and up-to-date for accurate financial tracking.
Rechecking Benefits
If you need to recheck eligibility information for the same payer using a different method, simply click on the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the payer card and select "Recheck Benefits." All previous checks will remain available for your reference even after running a new check.
Adding a New Payer
To add an additional payer, click on the blue "New Payer" button located in the top-right corner of the financial tracking screen. This allows you to include additional payer details as needed.
Marking Financial Status
You can mark the status of a patient’s financials to indicate whether the financial details are a reason to accept or decline the referral. This helps keep your team aligned and ensures informed decision-making for each referral.
