Each role in Cirrus hold specific permissions as to what a user is allowed to do and work with in Cirrus.
You can have different roles that hold different permissions. This is an easy way to be able to use the same permissions for several users instead of having to add permissions to each user.
Roles are found in Settings -> Users -> Roles.
When starting off with Cirrus you probably have a couple of example roles presented here. These can be deleted or modified.
Edit a role
Click on the pen icon to edit a role. In the overview you'll be able to see how many users that are included in this role and the amount of functionality they have access to ✏️
This is the view of where to edit this role. 👇
On the left side you can see which users are included in the role. You can remove them or add new users to the role.
All functionality is displayed on the right hand side. Just tick the check box next to each functionality to give the users in this role permission to work with said functionality.
Add a new role
If you want to add a new role, just start with clicking the "Add New" button at the top right and then follow the same steps as you would editing a role.
