Dynamic fields are customizable fields visible in the different features in Cirrus. The purpose of these is to provide different kinds of information about something.

Dynamic fields are available for Activities, Account, Contacts, Leads, Quote, Order, Projects and Opportunity.

Example:

1. Your company sends out newsletters regularly but you don't want to send it out to all your customers. Then you can add a new dynamic field called Newsletter with the values 'YES and 'NO'.

If there is a particularly important field you want to add you can make it a mandatory field. This means that when you e.g. create a new contact, the field Newsletter is a mandatory field to fill out in order to save it and go to the next step. If you don't fill out a mandatory field, Cirrus will give you a pop-up asking you to fill out any mandatory fields before continuing.

2. Go through your customers and choose which contacts you want to send it to.

3. Now you can filter out all your contacts who you have set to receive the newsletter, export the list of contacts and make an email list to easily send out your newsletter to the relevant customers.

๐Ÿ’กTIP! A smart way to send out emails to several contacts at once is to use Mailchimp which is an add-on feature available in Cirrus. Read more about the Mailchimp integration here.
