In accounts and contacts there is a setting called contact frequency which lets you choose how often you keep in contact with a customer. This acts as an automatic reminder for you to schedule an activity with the customer within the time interval chosen.

This is how the setting looks like on a contact ⬇

Use this if there is a specific contact within a company you wish to have regular contact with within your chosen time frame.

How does this work in practice?

Example: Let's say you have set the contact frequency for every 12 weeks and no user in your organization has had an activity scheduled with the customer (account or contact) for over 12 weeks - this means the time interval has passed.

This triggers an alert in form of a red "pill" - ! CONTACT FREQUENCY > - in the list of your contacts/accounts making it easy for you to notice this and make sure you contact the customer.
